A fire alarm system is a set of detection devices for early fire detection. When the alarm is triggerd, it activates acoustic and optical signaling, or other fire extinguishing systems. Moreover, fire alarm systems can also detect flammable, explosive and toxic gases.
According to the Fire Safety Decree, large buildings and constructions occupied by a large number of people are obliged to have a fire alarm system. These are mainly office buildings, hotels and accommodation facilites, hospitals, warehouses, shopfloors and buildings with an area of over 1000 square metres.
